OC Communications & Events, the team that brought you the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Cultural program (LMFF) 2010 premiere event CATWALKTHEATRE, their latest extravaganza, creates a roller coaster ride of orchestrated fashion chaos to a backdrop of live music and video animation. Hosted by Stephanie Ryan-Smith with extraordinary performances by CircaNica, Pole Divas and Patrick Studios, has assured that CATWALKCIRCUS will be the FASHION event of 2011.
CATWALKCIRCUS is an extravagant runway show scheduled in March, celebrating the creative parameters of how fashion can be showcased and experienced, far beyond the runway. The show includes collection shows from the hottest Australian and New Zealand labels, eccentric dance performances and outrageous jaw dropping acrobatics from 80 performers to create an entertainment extravaganza!
This year CATWALKCIRCUS will support the AIDS Trust of Australia. CATWALKCIRCUS will raise funds for The Aids Trust of Australia through live auctions and an opportunity to make a gold coin donation on the night. The funds will deliver essential response services to Australians across the nation living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.
“We had such a great time putting together Catwalk Theatre for the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Cultural Program in 2010 (LMFF 2010) that we thought we would have to come up with a concept this year that out did it; I think we’ve done it! We are bringing you an exciting mix of Fashion, Circus and Dance to coincide with the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 (LMFF 2011) calendar. I know everyone who comes along is going to have a great night!” – Oscar Calvo
